KAG increased efficiency

KAG, DC motor manufacturer from Hanover focuses on energy efficiency. The new M63x60 / I series has a recorded performance improvement of 5% at the nominal operating point. This will help reduce power consumption by about 5%. This means a saving of about 7kW/1.000 hours of drive. This effect will be multiplied in multi-axis applications. Besides energy efficiency, optimizations are implemented around the noise level. Compared with the standard engine, the sound dropped by 8 dB (A) to a level of 43 dB (A). The static torque of the motor was also minimized so that a speed control range is increased from 10:1 to 16:1. With these improvements, KAG sets the standard for newly developed customer drive solutions.
