KAG continues to development new products. In the BLDC motor series ECM63 and ECM75 KAG introduces a version with integrated electronics. The motor is equipped with an 8-bit absolute encoder, which ensures accurate and quiet operation. Moreover, the electronics provide via the CANopen interface current, temperature and voltage information. A hardware-based security disables the power stage in a few µs as soon as f.e. locked rotor is detected. Short voltage spikes, which occur by disconnecting the power supply during operation, will be detected by the electronics and immediately suppressed. The controller is protected against reversed polarity. Two analog inputs, that greatly simplify the first setup, can be modified according to customer's specific requirements.
